What is WikiCampus?

I think we got some kind of Information deficit here... ;)

Just stumbled across a project named WikiCampus on sf.net. Many tw.o people are in there - and especially edu.tw.o. What is it supposed to be? What's going on there? Is it tw.o based? Please, tell us! sf.net can't give me any information.

Hi amette:

Here it comes some more "historic" information... to keep everybody updated (I wished other people had informed publicly about that here, long ago).

Unluckily George.Geller seems to work with Plone framework, nowadays, to develop this Educational portal in the auspices of the Wikicampus project.

Cheers,

Xavi

Well, I reply here to Evan Paul, from Wikicampus project.

So far, I stick to Tiki, myself. I've just seen that Tikipro converted into Bitweaver 1.0, but couldn't get everything working right now, for the demo site I've tried, etc.
We'll see the evolution of Tikipro (Bitweaver).

However, I don't know about the coding efforts to have some common authentication system (users, groups and permissions) common among Tiki (or TikiPro) and a LMS such as moodle, dokeos, .LRN, ...

For the time being, I'm lookiing forward to see AulaWiki features upgraded to Tiki 1.9.0 wink (and hopefully, having Homework feature resqued at Tiki 1.9 or 1.10)

It would be very nive, Evan, to keep in contact and informed each others about the evolution of Wikicampus and Tiki for Edu.

Cheers,

Xavi
